Jorge Robledo

Jorge Robledo was born in Argentina, Buenos Aires. He began his career in dance at an early age, specializing in Spanish dance, classical ballet, jazz and modern dance. He studied Flamenco at the School of Jorge Luis and Conchita Spain. His extensive training led him to work with different artists, such as Carmelo Scaramouzzino and Malvina Straga. In Flamenco and Spanish Classic, he danced alongside Norma Buontempo, Jose Zartman, La China and Antonio Ortega. Later in his career, he was given the opportunity to work in Spain with Antonio Granjero, Jose Barrios, Manuel Betanzos, Domingo Ortega, Belen Maya, Nacho Blanco, El Torombo, Juana Amaya and Antonio Canales.

 

Jorge has a profound passion for dance. As a professor, he focuses on teaching his students the dicipline and dedication, it takes to master the art of dance.

Danilo Suarez

Danilo studies at New World School of the Arts in Downtown Miami. Danilo is professionally training in classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, and hiphop. Danilo's devotion to dance has led him to perform his art both locally and internationally. Danilo's talent took him to the cast of Dancing with the Stars. From 1996 to 2014, Danilo worked with Univision and danced on the award winning longest running latin TV show, Sabado Gigante. Danilo was asked to appear and choreograph for Caliente, Premios lo Nuestro, the Latin Billboards, and the Latin Grammys. He has worked alongside huge names like: Ricky Martin, Shakira, Thalia, Paulina Rubio, Olga Tañon, Gloria Trevi, Gloria Estefan, and Enrique Iglesias (just to name a few!). Hs big break came when Univision offered him a lead role in Mira Quien Baila. He was the headline dance for 3 seasons in front of 30 million + viewers. 

Danilo has also chorepraphed fashion shows such as the Latin Angels alongside Miguel Sierralta, the Venezuelan mogul. Danilo has a passion for teaching and children. Dancing with him is an experience you won't forget.

Leiza Mendez
Leiza’s dance career began at the Concepcion Arenal Dancing Society in Havana, Cuba. In 1988, Leiza led a professional group of dancers created by the famous Alicia Alonso and directed by professor and choreographer Olga Bustamante. Leiza’s in-depth knowledge of flamenco has guided her to study international dance, ballet, lyrical art and many more intricate styles.

 

Leiza has perfected the art form that is flamenco. She has choreographed many famous pieces including, “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”, “Amor Brujo”, and “Carmen.” Her dancing career has taken her internationally to Mexico, Colombia, and Spain. In 2000, she moved to Madrid, Spain, to join the Maria Serrano Dance Company and perform in the Teatro Central.

Rocio Alvarez

Rocio was born in Havana, Cuba and at the age of 8 she started her career as a dancer at the elemental school of the arts. Five years later she became a student from National School of the Arts and later part of the prestigious ballets in the world ( Ballet Nacional de Cuba).

 

She left Cuba and moved to miami where she danced with Alberto Alonso y Sonia Calero at Dance Assamble. In 2012, she started teaching at Academia Rashel now knowed as My Dream Dance Studio and still is part of our staff. She is also currently dancing with Free Soul Dance Company performing in local theaters in the Miami Area.
